The daily maintenance of rock drills relies on the regular replacement of various consumables and vulnerable parts.

Firstly, the lubrication and cooling system. Atlas Copco has specially developed special lubricating oils (such as AIR OIL series) for impact and rotary pneumatic tools (such as rock drills). This type of lubricating oil has excellent lubricity, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. It can maintain an oil film under both low and high pressure conditions, effectively reducing the wear of internal friction pairs.

Next are various filters and seals. Including air filters, hydraulic oil filters, fuel filters, etc., they can effectively intercept impurities, prevent dust and dirt from entering the interior of the machine and causing damage to parts. In addition, various O-rings, skeleton oil seals, and sealing kits are key to ensuring the airtightness and liquid tightness of equipment. Aging or damage can lead to air leakage, oil leakage, and pressure drop.

Finally, there are drilling tools and guide components. High quality original drill rods and bits are the guarantee for efficient drilling; The wear condition of the drill sleeve (guide sleeve) directly affects the rock drilling efficiency. If the internal hexagonal wear exceeds the standard, it is not only easy to break the drill rod, but also exacerbates the wear of core components such as the rotating sleeve, copper nut, and spiral rod.

In addition to regularly replacing parts, proper operating habits are also an important part of maintenance. Before connecting the air duct, be sure to release the air vapor and impurities in the pipeline first; It is strictly prohibited to dry the eyes. It is necessary to ensure that the water pressure (usually 0.2-0.3MPa) and air pressure (0.45-0.55MPa) are within a reasonable range to avoid water backflow into the interior of the machine. At the same time, the working condition of the oil injector should be regularly checked to ensure a reasonable fuel consumption of 3-4 milliliters per minute, so that the machine is always in good lubrication condition.
